The impact of European atrial fibrillation (AF) registries on clinical practice was under discussion during the joint session with the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) at the Arrhythmias 2019 Meeting. Doctor Francisco Moscoso Costa provided the reasons why this registry is advantageous in the long-term. According to the expert, “records are very important in clinical practice” as they provide more information about the disease, “the prognosis, mortality and associated comorbidities”.
